So far everything seems to work except after suspend the stylus refuses to start up again. I tried the fix that somebody wrote up on thinkwiki, but it's still not working. I guess it's not essential. Linux on laptops has always been trickier than on desktops. because of all the obscure hardware on laptops. It might be worth googling "feisty fawn thinkpad" over the next few weeks to see how folk are getting on with it. Dual boot shouldn't make any difference to the performance of the two systems really - as far as one OS is concerned there's just a chunk of hard drive that it's not interested in where the other OS resides.
