I went through a huge “Yes” and “Genesis” phase, when a pupil at Greenock Academy in the 70s, but I remember particularly Kraftwek’s techno feat “Trans Europ Express”, which was the soundtrack of an archaeology dig we Glasgow Uni’ First Years did in Aboyne in 1979! Incidentally there is a cafe called Trans Europe Express in Glasgow’s Merchant City, off Saltmarket…
I was a big Genesis fan too. I never quite got into Yes, but I could sing along to Supper’s Ready
