I”ve been playing some more tonight with the eee pc. I installed maxima on it, which is a superb open source CAS. Here’s a screenshot:

Are the characters still big enough to read? Can you alter the font size on Maxima?
Hi Tess. If you click on the image, you can see it full size. Quite readable really.
Nice. I noticed that you are running an old version of wxMaxima (from the Xandros repository perhaps). Any ideas on how to get the latest version of wxMaxima and Maxima running on the eee pc p900? Also, have you tried R? It works really great and you can do real work with it on this machine.
