I remember reading about the terrible conditions at Whistler a few years ago - disaster! I think it was a pretty unusual occurrence.

must say I think I saw more of the bars and resturants in town that I would have liked when I was there a couple of years back - Whistler was in the middle of their worst season on record - the shops had given up on skiing and were renting out mountain bikes - and this was the first week of March.

still, as you say, an awesome place and I’d still go back - having checked up on the snow conditions of course!
